The natural world is the perfect setting for children to learn and grow. Studies continually show that children who receive even small amounts of instruction in an outdoor setting take away more from the lesson, have greater focus, reduced stress, and many other benefits. Children make forts in the wood, play in sand and mud, and have an innate ability to create what they need with what they find in their environment. We are prepared for weather of all sorts. Our typical dress includes play clothes, mud boots, raingear and hats/gloves. We also have indoor classrooms to use for learning, warmth, and cooling off as needed.

Children form authentic and meaningful relationships with peers and adults. We cultivate mindfulness and empathy and infuse a growth mindset into all that we do so that children recognize their limitless possibilities.
Our program is unique in its approach to teaching children nonviolent communication and restorative practices.
